I’ve been to several Korean restaurants in Cebu but most do not offer the best of their specialties.
Now here comes Kimstaurant, a time- tested favourite restaurant from Bacolod, Kimstaurant brings the Land of the Morning Calm within reach to us Cebuanos. With fresh ingredients from Korea to ensure the most authentic taste.
When they first established in October 2010 in Bacolod City, Kim shares that “Looking back eight years ago, I noticed that there were only a few Korean restaurants there, so I decided to put up my own, with the goal for it to be the best Korean restaurant in the city.”
Since then, Kimstaurant became a go-to destination for locals, encouraging Kim to branch out to Cebu. “I confidently know that, just like our main branch, Kimstaurant will be a big success here.”
One of their must-try dishes includes the Japchae, a mixed dish of boiled bean threads, stir-fried vegetables and shredded meat and yes, my favourite Soy Sauce Chicken, bonchon-style friend chicken made from a recipe perfected by their General Manager Peter Kim.
