Rose petal gelato, fried butterfly squid, crazy wings, cheesy tart, roasted milk tea and more! These are just some of the items you can see at the newly opened The Market by Sugbo Mercado.

Food parks has been a thing in Cebu these past few years, with the wide array of food choices it’s always a best option to go grab something at your nearest food park. With the wide success of Sugbo Mercado, the team has decided to offer the same experience to the people up north and what better way to excite the crowd is opening the very first containerized food park in Cebu. Something Cebuanos were very eager and delighted to experience.

These wide open air spaces in container vans was such an exciting experience and opened all the possibilities of eating in the city with the different twist.  I love the entire aesthetics of the place and the cool breeze inside.  It is so wide and open, you don’t see people cramping inside the food park.

The Market by Sugbo Mercado is located at the North Reclamation Area, across UC-Med and beside Mo2. Good times and great food are rolling in the Market as they offer fun activities every night.

Tuesdays is Movie Nights
Wednesdays is Trivia/Slogos Nights
Thursdays is Poetry Nights
Fridays to Sundays featuring great Bands

You do have a lot of choices up your sleeves but of course I do have my personal food picks:

1. The Crabs from Seabu.PH. If you’ve been following me on my Instagram, you would definitely see what I always order from Seabu.PH and that’s their steam crabs is definitely the best.  Oh, I also have to add their best selling cheesy scallops.

2. Roasted Milk Tea from Hebrews Shebrews

3. Sven’s favorite pineapple cucumber from PinaColada

4. Yes! The Miso Ramen

5.  Lastly, the husband’s favourite Tuna Panga from Kuzina Guadalupe.

So what are you waiting for?  Instead of getting stuck in track around the Mandaue area, hang out and visit The Market by Sugbo Mercado.  They are open from Tuesday to Sunday from 5:00pm to 1:00am.  I also uploaded a video on you YouTube Channel for you to experience our family food trip at the market.

Follow The Market by Sugbo Mercado on their Facebook and Instagram page for more updates.

Sweet
