5 ways to feel the Christmas Spirit at Ayala Center Cebu

SOL 1

My favorite time of the year is finally happening and I can’t wait to spend time with my loved ones and enjoy the Christmas spirit.  And yes!  Christmas is definitely in the air and Ayala Center Cebu celebrates the holiday cheer with a variety of offerings for the whole family. From irresistible sales to incredible shows, a visit to the region’s premier lifestyle destination for shopping, dining, and entertainment is sure to make the holidays merrier and brighter.

And here are five ways you can have “Happy Ber-days” at Ayala Center Cebu:

  1. Enjoy the Symphony of Lights

Ayala Center Cebu’s yearly yuletide tradition is a spectacle of dancing lights with merry musical accompaniment that happens every 30 minutes starting 6 p.m. at The Terraces. The lights and sounds show is directed by Voltaire de Jesus. This year, it was launched on the first of December and gathered world-class homegrown talents such as Jimmy Marquez, Bituin Escalante, and Anna Fegi-Brown.

  1. Meet and Greet Santa Claus

No need to set out cookies and milk by the fireplace—get to meet Santa Claus in the flesh at Ayala Center Cebu. Donate a minimum of P50 to the HERO Foundation at the mall concierge to get your passes. Santa Claus will be at The Gallery on December 2 and 3, 9 and 10, 16 and 17, 23, and 25, from 3:00-4:00 p.m.

  1. Watch Spectacular Shows

This month, Ayala Center Cebu brings in an impressive roster of talents to entertain mallgoers as they do their Christmas shopping.

Last Saturday, December 9, shoppers were treated to ‘I Got Stung’, a musical performance inspired by the music of Sting. Choreographed and directed by James Laforteza, the ballet production featured dancers from Manila’s Steps Dance Studio with the special participation of guest star Piolo Pascual.

Also last December 9, students from Brown Academy of Music and Woodridge International School filled the atmosphere with merriment and Christmas carols during their recital at the Activity Center.

On December 15 and 16, at Level 1 near Levi’s, and on December 29 and 30 at the Ayala Activity Center, be mesmerized with tricks-of-the-eye at “The Amazing Show”, featuring famed illusionist Joe Conrad. Shows on December 15 and 16 are at 9 p.m., while shows on December 29 and 30 are at 6 p.m. The show is open to all.

From December 15 to 23, unwind after a long day of Christmas shopping at the Level 4, New Expansion Garden Area. Have a meal at a nearby restaurant or just hang out at the Garden Area, and fill your evening with music with Holiday Jazz Nights from 9:30 p.m. to 12 mn on December 15-16, and from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. on December 17-23.
