Life is Sweet

It’s been seven years since my last visit to Bantayan Island, I was even devastated when it was greatly affected by Typhoon Haiyan/Yolanda last 2013.  But I am glad that the island is starting to rise above the struggles they experienced during the recent tragedy.  My brothers friend Jordan visited him and the boyf is also in town for his monthly visit, so it was the perfect time for us to be bonding for our Summer Escapade.

We packed our bags and went on a road trip to Bantayan, it takes 3-4 hours going to Bogo and another hour via the ferry to arrive at the island. Jordan and Jul was pretty excited because it’s their first time to visit the island. I, on the other hand was quite thrilled to go back after 7 dreadful years.  I am always an island girl, I love frolicking under the sun, enjoying the sand and the loving the smell of the sea. I was never afraid to run under the heat of the sun of course in comparison before, I am now putting in mind the importance of putting sunscreen on my body.  I think the responsibility comes with age. We stayed at the beautiful Kota Beach Resort, we settled in right away and prepared to basked under the sun.

The experience will never be forgotten, aside from the fact that it was the first time for the boyf and I to visit Bantayan together, it was also a way to release the stress away, we both deserved this vacation.  I’m going to let the photos and video do the talking.
