DIY studded shorts

I am not the most creative blogger in the internet, as a matter of fact I always get lazy and bored with something that involves pins, threads, clothing and measurements.  But lately, I’ve been feeling a bit creative so I decided to buy some studs and thought of something cool that would hyped up my shorts.  This is still a work in progress because I still have to make it shorter, not sure how but I know I will get there.

So here are the tips on how to glam your shorts in the most easiest way.  All you need are;

Stud pins, set of strong hands, scissors, blade and some kick-ass music.

Important:  If you can visualize your design then no need of putting a marker on your shorts but if not, you can always ask for a friendly help in using your pencil compared to colored pens.  Use the music to make you visualize more.

I just formed the simplest triangle shape for my studs

I used the blade to cut off the sides skirts of my shorts so that I can put two pieces of studs in each side.

AND the simple finish product is….

yey something new to look at my shorts….after finishing this one, I am more inspired to do a lot of DIY and will feature amazing DIY of my favorite bloggers to.

Have a nice weekend everyone!!!!

    just when i thought that studs are about to go away, here you are adding them on your shorts. i did a studded denim vest before which i posted about here http://nouveauskin.blogspot.com/2010/04/studs-eyes.html. it’s a perfect accent to spice up any piece of clothings.
