my own designs

Sorry for the late update everyone.  Last Friday the hub’s sister arrived here and we had a day tour around Bangkok.  Got some great bargains and ordered already my stuff for the loot bags.  I was already tipsy last night to make a post and this morning we had to rush to do a lot of errands.  And happily went to the SPA to have our facial and massage, thanks to the hub for the treat.

I was cleaning my entire hard drive of old photos and old documents that are no longer needed in my present existence.  When I saw one album about my designs, I was so ecstatic.

I am not really a good artist, I cannot even draw a perfect body design like other designers do, but I remembered one time when I was still in high school that I drew my 18th birthday dream gown.  It was a ball gown with a fitted tube top that will enhance the shape of my body.  Of course I was not able to had that dressed made.  My aunt sponsored my 18th birthday outfits, 3 perfect gowns for my day as a princess.

So to skip that fairy tale part, I saw my drawing board along with the cloth that I bought to make my own designs.  I bought a black lace cloth for the v-cut floral top that has been the greatest masterpiece of all.  When it was finished I wore it during the black party of my friend’s sister.  It was a bit tight because believe it or not that was one of my huge moments as I gained weight for the passed years.  But when I came home last summer, I finally wore it again and it became one of my favorites.  So I guess I am now ready to take my Fashion Design class this coming October.  After seeing these photos of my not so good drawings I was inspired again.  What do you think?  is  it a hit or miss design?

my AS IF good drawings/designs hahahaha!

the first drawing above is the top that I am wearing in the next set of photos.

the black lace top, with a black top underneath it.  It was a bit tight during this days haahahaha!

and recent photo of the black lace top, with a black lingerie and stripes B&W vest from Zara.

See, now I am totally inspired to make future designs, hopefully hahahaha!

  1. Love the top! You have a talent that needs developing so I´d say GO! Ako I can´t even draw a straight line even if I use a ruler.hahaha! 🙂

  2. i wish i have the guts to go and learn fashion design. good luck with this venture. i’m sure you’ll do well. i had the chance to have 2 of my own designs constructed. i was able to sell my first design over the internet. the other one was too small and feminine for the filipino market. oh well.. i say pursue what you want. 😀

  3. hey there! I do visit your blog I just usually lurk & don’t comment 😉 bad habit I know…

As for your design…I love it! it’s equal parts vampy and feminine…and I think you should definitely pursue your dreams of fashion design.
