Remembering SINULOG!

a beautiful image of Snr. Sto. Nino at the Ayala Center Cebu gallery.

Sinulog is a yearly celebration of the people in Cebu.  Young and old people gather in celebration of our beloved patron Snr. Sto. Nino.

Some of us believe that this is a kick off start for partying all night long around Fuente Circle or even getting wasted during the mardi gras.  But for some we spent this time renewing our faith as devotees of Snr. Sto. Nino, enjoying the day even though we are under the heat of the sun.  I will surely miss a lot of fun this year and since my friends are so busy preparing for the Sinulog event on Sunday, which I will surely miss.  Let me show you my favorite shots during the Sinulog 2008, where we had  a complete blast.  Enjoy the pictures everyone!  VIVA PIT SENYOR!!!

Dancing under the scourging heat of the sun.  This has been a yearly celebration for devotees and students who wanted to showcase their love and talent for Snr. Sto. Nino.

Break time for kids.  Awesome smiles!

Synchronized dance steps, their Sinulog chants, wonderful costumes, Sinulog has always been a much awaited event in Cebu.
